The
new plant is made up of a state of the art mechanized centre
which enables the manufacture of parts without the use
of human labor, and the system is furthermore complemented
with measuring robots which measure 100% of the manufactured
parts and this in turn guarantees a very high quality production.
Additionally, the plant is made up
of an assembly and test installation for compressors and
valves which allows for the assembly, testing and checking
of all the mechanical components to ensure that these are
working efficiently and correctly. All equipment produced
at Galileo is later assembled at the adjacent assembly
unit.
This places Galileo as a leader in
the industry with state of the art installations and a
production capacity higher than current demand which means
we can guarantee faster delivery times and topmost quality.
Description of the new plant in
numbers
Total surface area 6,500 square meters.
Surface area of the plant 4,500 square meters, the remaining
area is made up of offices.
It has 180 direct employees; and over 400 indirect employees
There are training rooms, as well as a modern projection
room; integrated work areas such as administration, technical
service, and engineering amongst others.
The premises are located in the neighborhood of Tres de
Febrero, in the Province of Buenos Aires on the outskirts
of the city of Buenos Aires, the capital of the country. |
