CGC will increase its shale gas production with Galileo compressors
CGC will add 6 wellhead compressor packages, to be supplied by Galileo Rental, the Galileo Group operation and maintenance service leasing company.
Microskid Process MX 200 wellhead compressor packages set up to manage flows of 60,000 to 120,000 cubic meter (m3/d) of gas per day, and 15 to 30 m3/d of fluids.
The new equipment will be installed in CGC’s unconventional gas wells located at Campo Indio and Campo Boleadoras, province of Santa Cruz, Argentina. With this addition, CGC will have 20 wellhead compressor packages, supplied and operated by Galileo Rental, featuring a power range between 180 hp and 420 hp per unit.
Five of the new compressor packages will be Microskid Process MX 200®, set up to manage flows of 60,000 to 120,000 cubic meter (m3/d) of gas per day, and 15 to 30 m3/d of fluids, with line reinjection or local discharge, upon the operation requirement.
The sixth unit will be a Microskid Process MX 400®, which, acting as a pipeline booster, will inject over 100,000 m3/ day of natural gas into the San Martin gas pipeline connecting the Austral, South and San Jorge Gulf basins.
The delivery and commissioning plan for the new compressor packages will be completed by late July this year.
