The Argentine Minister of Energy trusts LNG for heavy transport

Yesterday, the Minister of Energy Javier Iguacel visited the wells where the Galileo’s Cryobox-Trailer stations are liquefying stranded gas in the Province of Mendoza, Argentina.

The visit was made at the Cavaos oilfield, operated by YPF, and in the company of its provincial counterpart, Minister Martín Kerchner Tomba. Iguacel expressed on Twitter his surprise at the technology applied by Galileo Technologies in that field to take advantage of the stranded gas through the Distributed Production of liquefied natural gas (LNG).

“LNG will be a game changer in the energy matrix of Argentina! Do you imagine trains and heavy duty trucks driven by LNG? With this (liquefaction) technology, it is possible”, he stated on his Twitter account.
